ARTE is dedicated to showcasing programmes that foster a deeper understanding of today's key cultural, environmental, socio-economical and geopolitical challenges in Europe and beyond. Different initiatives benefit from European co-financing, through the MEDIA strand of the Creative Europe programme and the Multimedia Actions budget in 2025.

    build on two complementary strands: ARTE Europe Weekly, a digital news magazine presented by native speakers in English, Spanish, French, and German, with subtitles in six additional languages: Italian, Polish, Greek, Hungarian, Latvian, and Romanian. Stories from the Continent, a catalogue that brings unique stories from across Europe to the forefront, showcasing the challenges, traditions, conflicts, and events that shape people’s lives.
