Improvement of tried and tested

Over the years and successive phases, solid and effective multilingual workflows have been put in place. 2025 was an opportunity to improve them further, in conjunction with the service provider, particularly in terms of accessibility, localised content and voice versions.

Experimenting fine-tuned multilingual formats

Thanks to the beyond subtitling multilingual tests carried out during phase 8 – year one, particularly on full dubbing, part of the content is now available with different language treatments, making it more accessible to European audiences, respecting language diversity.

Following a successful test period, widespread use of AI for translating factual and cultural magazines, which are then post-edited before being put online. The use of AI enabled cost optimisation, to be reinvested in the production of dubbed narrated versions.

Danish deployment

The first technical trial for linear broadcast in Denmark, on an episode of ARTE Reportage was successful. Negotiations with Danish collective management organisation and operators confirmed the interest in the launch of a pilot phase. The possibility of offering the Danish catalogue online is under consideration.
